We spend our whole life in a single body. Yet few of us ever really learn to understand it, to use it efficiently or to preserve its capacities over the years. Movement is not simply a way of exercising. It is the foundation of our independence, our strength, our balance and our quality of life. That conviction has guided my work for more than fifteen years.

I do not see Pilates as a series of exercises. I see it as a tool for understanding how the human body works: how it produces movement, how it compensates, why certain pains appear, why some people progress while others plateau. Every session is designed as a search for precision. Observe. Analyse. Correct. Strengthen. Understand.

Because one quality movement is always worth more than one extra repetition.

My approach rests on three pillars.

Science first. What we know today about biomechanics, exercise physiology and motor control lets us understand the workings of the human body better than ever before. It is the basis of every decision made during a session.

Experience next. More than fifteen years of teaching, thousands of sessions and an extremely wide range of profiles have taught me that no two bodies are alike. And that seeking to understand a body matters as much as feeling it.

Rigour last. Lasting results rest neither on passing trends nor on quick promises, but on coherent, tailored progression repeated over time.

Sport has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have practised fitness, swimming, judo, rugby, African dance, tai chi chuan and many other disciplines. Each one gave me a different understanding of movement.

I hold three Master's degrees from the Université libre de Bruxelles, where I specialised in particular in the anthropology of the body. But in 2009 I chose to devote myself fully to my passion for sport by joining the Balanced Body University® training programme, one of the world's leading Pilates references.

There I earned my Pilates instructor certification, with close to 500 hours of training. I then worked in several well-known Brussels establishments, notably Aspria, Kinetix and the European Parliament, before founding Pylatica Studio in 2014.

Wanting to deepen my knowledge beyond Pilates, I went on to earn the NASM® Certified Personal Trainer certification, followed by the NASM® Corrective Exercise Specialist specialisation, devoted to biomechanics, postural correction and functional training.

Today I work just as much with people living with chronic pain as with people looking to improve their performance or simply to protect their health capital.

My aim is not only to make your next session a success. It is that you should still be able to move with confidence in ten, twenty or thirty years. To be stronger, more mobile, more stable and more independent. Because true luxury is not looking fit. It is keeping a body capable of doing what you love, for as long as possible.

That vision inspires every session offered at Pylatica.

Pilates Instructor · Personal Trainer

Movement has been with me for as long as I can remember. I grew up between Mauritius, Rodrigues and Madagascar, where the ocean, nature and dance deeply shaped the way I live and understand the body. Very early on, I discovered that movement could be far more than a physical activity: a real means of expression, of self-confidence and of wellbeing. That rhythm still lives in me today in the way I coach.

After several years with a professional company, I had the honour of taking part in the Indian Ocean Island Games before joining the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA®), where I earned a Bachelor's degree in dance. I then lived there for several years as a professional dancer and teacher, developing a demanding approach to movement, technique and teaching.

It was in the United Kingdom that I discovered sports coaching. While teaching dance in a sports club, I became passionate about biomechanics, muscular strengthening and personalised guidance. This meeting between the artistic world and physical preparation naturally steered my path towards Personal Training.

Back in Belgium in 2012, I worked with a wide range of clients in sports clubs and in private coaching. Certified as a Personal Trainer and as a LesMills® Body Pump and Body Attack instructor, I built a dynamic, structured approach, always adapted to each person's needs and goals.

In 2019, Pilates came to enrich my practice. I found in it a discipline that brings together everything I love: precision of movement, strength, mobility, stability and body awareness. Since then, Pilates has become a central element of the way I guide my clients.

Today, I combine dance, fitness and Pilates in an approach that is technical, personalised and caring. My aim is to help you build a stronger, more mobile and more balanced body, while rediscovering the pleasure of moving. Whether you want to improve your posture, prevent pain, gain in performance or simply take care of yourself, I will guide you with energy, attentiveness and enthusiasm, in the spirit of Pylatica Studio: demanding, human coaching, entirely adapted to your own path.
